Weddings usually take place on warm summer days. The days grow longer and temperatures rise. The recent and now already slowly passing year was full of unforgettable weddings, which will leave beautiful lasting memories. One wedding in particular, has a special place in my heart. It was a winter wedding.

I have often imagined photographing the bride in a vivid red dress in the middle of a white, snow covered landscape. It did not fully work out with the red dress, but still, I was overwhelmed by the atmosphere of a snowy white wedding.

The wedding took place in the embrace of an amazing landscape, between the ski center Schladming and the city of Salzburg.

From a town called Filzmoos, where the bride and groom made themselves ready for their big day. From there we went on the way with snow carriages. A lonely winding road took us over mountain pastures and trough snowy forests. An hour went by when we were warmly welcomed at the mountain cottage Unterhof Alm.
